This course builds on the foundation of CoreAlign® 1 with advanced progressions and additional movement categories, training options and teaching techniques. We address a range of training goals from core stabilization to integrated rotation, complex movement patterns and the introduction of CoreAlign Rotator Discs.
Prerequisites
• CoreAlign® 1: Foundations
Course includes:
• How to improve functional movement patterns for clients at any level of ability from rehab patients to professional athletes.
• Progressions of plank and standing exercises to address a range of training goals from core stabilization to creating integrated rotation for throwing sports.
• Training options using rotator discs, variable directions of resistance and moments of suspension.
• Exercises to challenge balance, coordination and complex movement patterns to prepare clients for everyday activities.

Designed by clinicians who use CoreAlign® as an essential part of their practice, this course provides you with a range of tools for working with your clients. Beginning with essential core and lumbopelvic stabilization exercises, the course introduces functional progressions for gait, squatting and lunging, reaching and lifting, and integrating whole body movement. This course is designed to help you identify a client’s functional limitations and help them regain optimum health through whole body movement.

CoreAlign® 2
CoreAlign® 2 - Progressions for Rehabilitation Professionals
CoreAlign® 2 builds on the exercises learned in CoreAlign® 1 to expand the rehabilitation professional’s ability to create customized exercise programs for patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Progressions of several foundational exercises, including plank work, standing, and gait exercises, are included to help patients move from rehabilitation to real life in a safe and effective environment. In addition, training techniques using CoreAlign® rotator discs and variable directions of resistance are explored to expand your understanding of the CoreAlign® system. Completing both CoreAlign® 1 and 2 satisfies the course requirements for the Balanced Body CoreAlign® instructor training program. After completing the two courses, students may apply to take both a written and practical exam to earn the designation of a Qualified CoreAlign® Instructor.

CoreAlign® Hip Rehabilitation Workshop Q&A
This interactive workshop is designed to help CoreAlign® teachers deepen their use of this amazing piece of equipment. A basic knowledge of CoreAlign set-up, use and safety is required.
The improvements in hip mobility, strength, and control clients can achieve using the CoreAlign® are unparalleled. This workshop will take a deep dive into common issues we see at the hip and explore how to use the machine to help us figure out the cause of these dysfunctions and help us better intervene to make changes. This is geared towards therapy providers and will focus on breaking down movements into smaller chunks then building them back into the whole vs advanced repertoire.

Class Objectives:
1. Identify movements and exercises using the CoreAlign® that are useful in diagnosing hip dysfunction.
2. Relate specific hip pathologies and movement dysfunctions to common exercises using the CoreAlign®.
3. Break down these issues with foundational exercises into smaller chunks and learn how to create lasting change in movement patterning.
4. Learn steps to take to build back into foundational exercise.

CoreAlign® Foot and Ankle Rehabilitation Workshop Q&A
This two hour workshop is designed to help CoreAlign® teachers deepen their use of this amazing piece of equipment. A basic knowledge of CoreAlign set-up, use and safety is required.
When clients experience CoreAlign® for the first time, I often hear comments about how much they feel their feet working. The rough surface, demands on flexibility, and challenges to support of the foot and ankle all make this machine a great tool to use in foot and ankle rehabilitation.
We'll explore come common foot and ankle limitations, get creative in how to adapt or modify, and provide some fun ways to challenge our clients.
