CoreAlign® Hip Rehabilitation Workshop Q&A

This interactive workshop is designed to help CoreAlign® teachers deepen their use of this amazing piece of equipment. A basic knowledge of CoreAlign set-up, use and safety is required.

The improvements in hip mobility, strength, and control clients can achieve using the CoreAlign® are unparalleled. This workshop will take a deep dive into common issues we see at the hip and explore how to use the machine to help us figure out the cause of these dysfunctions and help us better intervene to make changes. This is geared towards therapy providers and will focus on breaking down movements into smaller chunks then building them back into the whole vs advanced repertoire.

Class taught by Carrie A. Lamb, PT, DPT, OCS, PMA-CPT and CoreAlign® Educator.

Class Objectives:

1. Identify movements and exercises using the CoreAlign® that are useful in diagnosing hip dysfunction.

2. Relate specific hip pathologies and movement dysfunctions to common exercises using the CoreAlign®.

3. Break down these issues with foundational exercises into smaller chunks and learn how to create lasting change in movement patterning.

4. Learn steps to take to build back into foundational exercise.
