“I found the course material and the philosophy behind it highly practical, accessible and easy to connect with other treatment modalities I use. There was so much to appreciate about Lindy’s teaching style - she presented complex and exciting ideas in a way that was easy to digest, cut through so many old/bad ideas, and was very engaging along the way.”

“I have been attending Workshops for 12 years. Carrie Lamb is by far the best teacher I have had the honor of taking a class from! Her genuine way of teaching & knowledge is very unique! Her approach and her passion is what I love and inspired me to continue to promote mindful movement in my own studio!”

“Lindy was so great teaching not only to her live audience but also to those of us who were joining via Zoom. Not all of us are able to travel for 3 day courses so Zoom makes this type of education much more affordable.”

  • Yes! One of the many strengths of the Balanced Body program is that they allow you to bite off small chunks at a time and earn certifications on individual aspects of training vs the entire system.

  • At this time, we do not offer the full comprehensive training program but offer many classes that count towards this certification. Stay tuned as we are working towards this program and hope to be fully certified by the state of CO by 2025.

  • The rehabilitation curriculum is the newest education offering from Balanced Body. Both of our educators served as advisors during the development of this coursework and are well versed in both the traditional courses and this newer line.

The course is designed for clinicians who are licensed in their professions such as PTs, Chiropractors, Athletic Trainers, etc. One of the main differences is that we spend less time reviewing basic principles and anatomy and more time on application of the exercises to a clinical situation.

We review common issues faced in the rehab world and talk about how to adapt and apply the curriculum to those situations. That means the expectation is that students who attend the rehab based courses have a strong foundation in anatomy and movement and are looking to train their eye and apply the exercises and concepts learned into a clinical scenario.

Additionally, these courses focus more on one on one instruction vs programming for a group class. If you have more questions and would like help deciding what pathway is right for you, please email us at education@movementconnectsus.co and we’ll be happy to set up a time to talk.

  • Because each state is autonomous when it comes to CEU’s for PTs this is not a simple question. Balanced Body Education is working to get pre-approval in states where this is an option. If you are a PT and take one of our courses taught by a PT, you will be able to submit your course certificate for approval. If your state requires any additional information to accompany your submission, we are happy to provide that to you as well. In Colorado, we have not had any students be denied Category 1 credit when audited.

  • Sometimes these classes can be appropriate. Please CONTACT US to discuss your individual case and we can help you make a decision that best fits your needs and experience level.

  • You can apply any of the 16 hour Rehab focused classes towards a certification in that apparatus or towards a comprehensive Pilates certification. At this time, there is not a specific certification for the Rehabilitation program but that option is currently being discussed by the Balanced Body Education team.

  • All of our trainings are currently offered at 420 Corporate Circle, Suite M Golden, CO 80401.

In addition, all courses are available in a live, online format via Zoom to accommodate students who may not be able to travel for classes. Please know that if you plan to attend via Zoom, you will need access to the apparatus you are studying for the entirety of class.
