  • Erika Cunha

    Erika Cunha never really got over her goal to be a Solid Gold Dancer. Unfortunately, the show was discontinued while she was in elementary school so she had to reevaluate. Since that time, Erika acquired a BA in Psychology and began her graduate studies in Expressive Therapies. Her specialization and passion is with movement. She has found movement not only to help with fitness but also loves the healing power of moving your body.

    She is a certified pilates teacher with over 400 hours of training in the STOTT method with a focus in rehabilitation and has taught yoga, dance and pilates nationally to students of all ages for over 23 years.

    She continues to dance and has focused on West African dance for the last 20 years. She balances her workouts by baking with her 2 children, Lila and Remy.

  • Sutton Anker

    Sutton Anker

    Sutton Anker has a strong passion for teaching: dance technique, dance science/wellness, Pilates, and creativemovement classes for all ages and abilities. Her interest in dance medicine and science began at the University of Wyoming where she earned her B.F.A. in 2013 in Dance concentration of Science. In 2015, Sutton graduated with her Masters of Science in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, U.K.

    Sutton’s personal and academic interest in pedagogy and advocacy for safe dance practice is what drew her to be a Safe in Dance International (SiDI) Registered Provider. Sutton has presented two of her mirror research studies including her Master’s thesis, An Investigation of Pedagogical Rationales for Current Mirror Use in a Ballet Technique Class at the 2016 International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conference in Hong Kong. Sutton became a staff member of IADMS in 2019 as the Programming Manager, assisting teams across the organization to plan, coordinate, and implement successful conference programming and marketing campaigns.

    In 2019, Sutton became a certified BASI Pilates instructor. She loves the Pilates’ accessibility and mind-body focus and works with clients of all ages and abilities to educate and support them on their personal wellness journey.

  • Rachel Wright

    Rachel Wright

    Rachel is a classically trained and comprehensively certified Matwork and Reformer Pilates Instructor through Breathe Education. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2020 with a Major in Crime, Law, Society and a Minor in Architecture. Like many others, the pandemic lead her to at-home workouts, where she began her matwork pilates practice. Her aunt then took her to her very first reformer pilates class and she was hooked. Since getting certified in June 2022, Rachel has started her own private pilates practice and spent many hours teaching in studios around the Denver area. She is excited and grateful to experience such a welcoming community of people. Rachel was born and raised in Palm Spring, CA. She moved to the Denver area in December 2021. Aside from pilates, Rachel is a yogi, a dog lover, a tea drinker, and a Wellness Retreat Director. She is passionate about whole body health and helping other people achieve their goals.

  • Terri Gallo

    Terri has been a Fully certified Pilates instructor since 1999 with a strong focus on using Pilates as a rehabilitation tool in collaboration with Physiotherapists, and Chiropractors. Over the years she has also had the privilege of working closely with professional athletes, helping them enhance their performance and recover from injuries using Pilates techniques.

    Her dedication to excellence in this field led her to pursue continued education as a Canadian trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. This additional expertise allows her to provide a holistic approach to wellness, integrating Pilates and osteopathic principles to support the overall health and well being of her clients.

    Her journey as a Pilates instructor and Osteopathic manual practitioner has been marked by a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their optimum health and fitness goals, whether they are recovering from injuries or striving for peak athletic performance.

  • Sarah Anderson

    Sarah has been teaching pilates since 2014. She got her certification from the Pilates Center in Boulder, CO and then completed the Heritage Training with Cara Reeser. She is also continuing her education consistently by attending workshops and learning from some of her favorite teachers. Sarah loves helping others understand body mechanics as well as the body’s innate wisdom and intelligence. Pilates has opened many unexpected doors for Sarah and has changed her life in so many ways. When Sarah isn’t teaching, she spends her time making music and playing shows with her band Heavy Diamond Ring. She also loves hanging out at home in Evergreen, CO with her family.

  • Mackenzie Nelson

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Mackenzie is an Ohio native that has lived in Colorado for over 6 years. Being outside, traveling, crafting and spending quality time with loved ones are some of her favorite activities. She loves working in the natural health care arena and has worked amongst this field throughout her working career. In 2020, Pilates became a weekly routine when her best friend was in training to become a Pilates Instructor. She fell in love with Pilates and has been working at Connect since February 2022. She is invaluable to our team and helps keep us all on track and the office running smoothly.
