CoreAlign® Rotator Disk Workshop Q&A

This interactive workshop is designed to help CoreAlign® teachers deepen their use of this amazing piece of equipment. A basic knowledge of CoreAlign set-up, use and safety is required.

The rotator disks are great tools to go deeper into your CoreAlign® repertoire and have fun breaking free from the rigidness of the tracks. This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to the versatility and functionality of the rotator disks, both traditional and resistance based. We'll explore how to use disks to dig deeper into trunk integration work and offer challenges to established movement patterns.

Class taught by Carrie A. Lamb, PT, DPT, OCS, PMA-CPT and CoreAlign® Educator.

Course Objectives:

1. Students will understand benefits of using both traditional and resistance disks on the CoreAlign.

2. Students will understand safety precautions using disks.

3. Students will learn how to apply the disks for lower extremity work.

4. Students will learn how to apply the disks for upper extremity work.

5. Students will learn how to apply the disks to challenge trunk stability and integration.
