Developed to introduce Clinicians to the Pilates method, this course teaches beginner to intermediate Pilates mat exercises and how to use them to assess and address functional and dysfunctional movement patterns. Each exercise is presented with modifications, regressions and progressions. Pilates Mat exercises create effective home programs for patient self-practice and long-term maintenance. This course satisfies the Mat 1 requirement for our Balanced Body Pilates Certification program.
