Dr. Kat Bower, PT, DPT, MTC

My path to physical therapy started with a passion for movement; I saw my first ballet at three years old and immediately became intrigued about how the human body could move so gracefully. Dance taught me about pushing the limits of what the human body is capable of, and what it takes to return someone to the high levels of performance that we seek.

For over a decade I have been treating, educating and guiding patients and practitioners through a unique holistic approach to optimize performance and prevent the “fit but unhealthy” athlete. I believe that as a patient you are so much more than just a diagnosis from a doctor, you are a whole person. It is my goal to empower my clients with the skills they need for lifelong participation in the activities they love.

Since hanging up my dance bag in 2012, I found a deep love for endurance sports. I took to road cycling that year, and soon began training and racing for half and full Ironman distance triathlons. My new-found joy in endurance athletics has expanded my knowledge and understanding of the unique demands placed on the female athlete and how to help women create longevity in their chosen sport.

To me there is no better feeling than the empty legs and full heart that come with a day on the bike, or an epic day in the mountains! I look forward to working with you in achieving your full movement potential.
