Lisa Hamilton, PT, DPT, NCPT is a Physical Therapy graduate of Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, as well as the transitional doctorate program at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She also holds a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Lisa is the founder of Flourish Studios providing Physical Therapy, Intelligent Movement private and group sessions, BodyMind Coaching, as well as Bone Health education and programming virtually, and in Montana and Colorado. Her personal Pilates practice inspired her to pursue Pilates Certification for Rehabilitation through Polestar Education and she a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, as well as a Master Instructor in Core Align® through Balanced Body.
Lisa has developed programs and teaches classes for all ages utilizing Pilates based methods, as well as the Core Align® for balance and functional movement training. She was inspired by her mother’s diagnosis of severe osteoporosis to serve the community as a volunteer for American Bone Health and the National Osteoporosis Foundation, providing screenings and educational programs, as well as increasing awareness about bone health to the public and other health care professionals. She is trained in BoneFIt™ through Osteoporosis Canada, and serves as Vice Chair of the Bone Health Special Interest Group for the American Physical Therapy Association.
