Reformer 1 for Rehabilitation Professionals
August 7, 2021 @ 8:00 am – August 8, 2021 @ 5:00 pm MDT
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn all that the Reformer can do!
From the beginning, Joseph Pilates used his Universal Reformer as a rehabilitation tool. This course teaches beginner to intermediate level exercises and how to use them to treat a range of common injuries including lower back pain, hip and knee pain, and shoulder injuries. Topics covered include safe use of the equipment, patient set up, regressing, progressing and modifying exercises and clinical case studies to help you put the concepts into practice. This 16-hour 16-hour gateway course satisfies the Reformer 1 requirement for the Balanced Body Pilates instructor training program.
This class is offered in-person and online. Online students must have access to a reformer and zoom to participate.
Class times are 8am – 5pm each day.
