This 1-Day course is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of Pilates mat work, enhanced by the use of rollers, bands and balls. Props add variety to the mat work, provide proprioceptive feedback for your clients, and are a great addition to your home program toolkit. During this course you will explore some of the basic principles of Pilates mat work and learn how to use simple props to support and challenge the exercises, enabling you to apply the exercises in the clinical setting.
Enhancing mat exercises with props allows you to expand the traditional mat work to develop whole body strength, flexibility and function. Plus, adding props to mat work makes it more dynamic and creative, increasing client motivation and engagement.
